Certified Organice Eucalyptus Citriodora. (Lemon Eucalyptus) is fantastic on skin ailments (Burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice, and skin infections), as well as to combat the effects of colds and the flu. There is also a history of Eucalyptus essential oil being applied to sore muscles and joints.

The CDC has approved Lemon Eucalyptus as an alternative to DEET insect repellents, and has said that it is safer to use on children and the elderly than products containing DEET. Note that this oil does not have carrier oil included, and should be diluted in oil before using on the skin.

Lavandula angustifolia is the true lavender (as opposed to spike lavender, lavandin, etc.). It is produced throughout the world, although France is considered the premier growing region. Lavender oil is a very safe and much loved essential oil. It can be used for a broad array of ailments; burns, insect stings, headaches, calming formulas, cold formulas, etc. See details for more info.

Orange oil is one of those oils that everyone should have around the house. From mixing with a little baking soda to make a fantastic tooth (and sink) polish, to adding to vinegar to break up hard water stains on faucets and porcelain, or adding to water to make a refreshing room spritzer, and dabbing on a dusting cloth to give wood an extra shine and great smell, (then toss the cloth in the dryer for an all natural dryer sheet) orange oil is one of those things I consider a necessity.
